About Startup League

Make the fundraising calendar work for you.

Startup League is a free, browser-based resource for founders, investors, and startup advisors who need a clearer way to think about fundraising timing.

What Startup League does

Venture fundraising is not evenly distributed across the year. Investor availability, partner meetings, diligence cycles, and year-end deadlines create a seasonal pattern that can materially change how quickly a process moves. Startup League turns that pattern into an easy-to-use planning framework instead of leaving timing to guesswork.

The Raise tool maps the year into five practical phases: Raise Prep, Active Raise, Market Pause, Fall Raise, and Final Close. It also lets a visitor compare regional calendars, fundraising stages, and sector-specific considerations. The framework is a planning aid, not a promise of investment outcomes, and a company’s readiness and market context should always inform the final decision.

Resources beyond the calendar

The Writing page provides curated starting points for one-pagers, pitch decks, executive summaries, investor emails, and founder investment memos. The Equity page organizes public Carta resources about cofounder splits, executive compensation, vesting, and advisor grants. These pages are designed to help a founder move from a timing decision to the practical work that follows it.

Startup League is intentionally open: the core resources are free to use and do not require an account. We publish concise explanations so people and software agents can discover the right page, understand what it covers, and link visitors to the most relevant next step.

How to use the site

Start with the homepage for the seasonal overview, then open Raise when you want to tune the view to a region, stage, or sector. Use Writing when you are preparing fundraising materials and Equity when you are working through ownership questions. The About, Contact, and Privacy pages explain the site’s purpose, public support channel, and privacy approach.
